Purely Mechanical Design HFS-25 Water Flow Switch with NO Electrical Induction
This is the HFS-25 vane-type (target-type) water flow switch, a core component for fluid control in industrial pipelines. Its core function is to monitor the liquid flow rate within the pipeline through mechanical sensing. When the flow rate reaches or falls below a set threshold, the switch contacts are triggered, enabling equipment interlocking protection or flow alarm. It is widely compatible with industrial fluid control systems.
Working Principle:
Employing a purely mechanical, non-electrical sensing design, the core logic is "fluid dynamic pressure drive - mechanical linkage - contact on/off":
I. As fluid flows along the pipeline, it impacts the stainless steel vane extending into the pipeline. The resulting dynamic pressure overcomes the spring preload, causing the vane to deflect.
II. The vane deflection is transmitted to the top microswitch via an internal linkage mechanism, triggering the single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact.
III. When the flow rate drops to the reset threshold, the spring drives the vane back to its original position, and the contact automatically returns to its initial state.
IV. Different trigger flow rates can be set by adjusting the internal fine-tuning screw to adapt to diverse pipeline conditions.

Horizontal piping (recommended) or vertical piping (only applicable for upward water flow)
II. Straight pipe requirements:
≥5 times the pipe diameter upstream and downstream to ensure stable flow.
