Brand New Oil & Paint Resistant 5AM Thermal Protector with Large Electrical Capacity  

5AM&5AM+PTC high current thermal protector is oil and paint proof and has high current carrying capacity.

Working Principle:
The current passes through the shell terminals and bimetallic strips, and then connects to electrical appliances (such as motors, transformers, etc.) through the bottom plate terminals to form a circuit. When the appliance malfunctions and the ambient temperature is too high, the heat is transferred to the bimetallic strips to reach the calibrated trip temperature, causing the electrical contacts to quickly disconnect and cut off the circuit. When the temperature drops to the reset temperature, the bimetallic strips reset and quickly close the electrical contacts to connect the circuit, continuing the cycle.
