This is the Johnson Controls F61KB-11C target-type flow switch (also called a liquid flow switch), an industrial-grade fluid control component primarily used to monitor liquid flow in pipelines. It triggers the switch when the flow rate reaches or falls below a set threshold, achieving equipment interlock protection.

Product Introduction:

       The F61KB-11C is a standard flow rate type flow switch in Johnson Controls' F61 series. It uses a target-type (vane-type) mechanical sensing principle. A stainless steel vane inserted into the pipe senses the fluid flow. When the flow velocity reaches a set value, the vane deflects, triggering an internal microswitch and outputting an SPDT (single-pole double-throw) contact signal.
       It is specifically designed for non-corrosive, non-hazardous liquids such as water and ethylene glycol, and is widely used in HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial cooling applications requiring flow interruption protection or flow interlocking.
