This is the power component (also called a temperature sensor) of a bellows-type thermostat, a core component for automatic temperature control in equipment such as gas valves and fryers.
Product Introduction:
It mainly consists of three parts: a copper temperature sensor, a capillary tube, and a bellows power element:
I. Copper Sensor: Directly inserted into or in contact with the measured medium (such as a gas flame or hot oil), it quickly absorbs heat.
II. Capillary Tube: Filled with a temperature-sensing working fluid (such as liquid propane), it connects the sensor to the bellows, transmitting pressure changes.
III. Bellows: Its internal pressure expands and contracts with temperature changes, directly driving the gas valve or switch.
Working Principle:
It works based on the physical principles of thermal expansion and contraction and pressure transmission:
I. The temperature sensor detects temperature changes, causing the internal working fluid to expand when heated or contract when cooled, generating a pressure change.
II. This pressure is transmitted through the capillary tube to the bellows, causing it to lengthen or shorten.
III. The mechanical displacement of the bellows directly links to the gas valve or switch, achieving regulation or on/off control of the gas flow, thereby stabilizing the equipment temperature.
