Working Principle:
The KSD9700 series thermal protector uses a bimetallic strip as its temperature sensing element. During normal operation, the bimetallic strip is in a free state, and the contacts remain closed or open. When the temperature rises to the operating temperature, the bimetallic strip generates internal stress due to heat, causing it to actuate rapidly, opening or closing the contacts, thereby cutting off or connecting the circuit and achieving thermal protection. When the temperature drops to the reset temperature, the contacts automatically close or open, and the appliance returns to normal operation.
Applications:
Widely used in household appliances and electrical equipment, such as washing machine motors, air conditioner fan motors, transformers, ballasts, electric heating appliances, battery chargers, office automation equipment, etc., effectively preventing these devices from being damaged due to overheating.
