This is a temperature-sensing bulb assembly of a thermostatic expansion valve in a refrigeration system, also called a bellows power component. It's a core component in air conditioning, cold storage, and other equipment used to precisely control refrigerant flow.

Working Principle:

Its core function is based on the physical mechanism of temperature-pressure conversion:
I. Temperature Sensing: The temperature-sensing bulb (probe) is attached to the evaporator outlet pipe to detect real-time changes in refrigerant temperature.

II. Pressure Conversion: The temperature-sensing bulb is filled with the same refrigerant as the refrigeration system (e.g., R22, R410A). When the temperature rises, the internal liquid evaporates into gas, and the pressure increases accordingly; conversely, the pressure increases when the temperature decreases.

III. Signal Transmission: This pressure change is transmitted through a thin copper capillary tube to the bellows diaphragm (bellows) at the top of the expansion valve.

IV. Flow Regulation: The diaphragm deforms under the pressure difference, causing the valve needle to move up and down, thereby precisely controlling the opening of the expansion valve and regulating the refrigerant flow into the evaporator, ensuring the system always operates at optimal efficiency.
