This is an M-thread mountable resistance temperature sensor (likely a PT100 type), a precision temperature measuring element commonly used in medium- and low-temperature environments.

Product Introduction:

It mainly consists of a threaded stainless steel probe, a high-temperature resistant fiberglass braided cable, and pre-insulated cold-pressed terminals.

The M-thread design of the probe allows for quick installation by directly screwing it into the threaded hole of the device. The fiberglass sheathed cable ensures insulation and durability in medium- and high-temperature environments, while the pre-insulated cold-pressed terminals facilitate wiring with temperature control systems.

Working Principle:

It operates based on the characteristic of metal resistance changing with temperature (the resistance effect).

The platinum wire (PT100) inside the probe increases its resistance as the temperature rises.

This change in resistance is transmitted to the temperature controller via the cable. The controller then calculates the corresponding temperature by measuring the resistance value, thus achieving real-time temperature monitoring.
