This is the temperature sensing bulb assembly of a thermostatic expansion valve, an indispensable core component in refrigeration systems such as air conditioners and cold storage facilities.

Working Principle:

It operates based on the physical principle of temperature-pressure conversion:
- Temperature Sensing: The temperature sensing bulb (probe) is attached to the evaporator outlet pipe to sense the refrigerant temperature in real time.

- Pressure Conversion: The temperature sensing bulb is filled with the same refrigerant as the system (such as R22 or R410A). When the temperature rises, the internal liquid evaporates into gas, and the pressure increases accordingly; the opposite occurs when the temperature decreases.

- Signal Transmission: This pressure change is transmitted to the diaphragm assembly of the expansion valve through a thin capillary tube.

- Flow Regulation: The diaphragm deforms under the pressure difference, actuating the valve needle to precisely control the opening of the expansion valve, regulating the refrigerant flow into the evaporator, and ensuring the system always operates at optimal efficiency.
