The Stainless Steel Heating Element with Magnesium Rod for Mini Kitchen Water Heater is a component that combines heating function and anti-corrosion protection. Its core is to protect the heating tube and the inner tank through the "sacrificial anode" principle of the magnesium rod, thereby extending the service life of the equipment.

Working Principle:
1. The core function of the heating tube
The electric heating tube is usually a resistance wire inside. After power is turned on, the electrical energy is converted into thermal energy through the Joule heating effect to directly heat the water. Its material is mostly stainless steel (such as 304, 316) or copper, which has good thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance.
2. Anti-corrosion mechanism of magnesium rod
The chemical properties of magnesium rod are more active than iron (heating tube or inner tank material). When an electrochemical corrosion circuit is formed in water, the magnesium rod is preferentially oxidized as a "sacrificial anode", thereby protecting the heating tube and the inner tank from corrosion. The reaction principle is as follows:
Magnesium (Mg) loses electrons: Mg - 2e → Mg²
Oxygen or other ions in water gain electrons to avoid direct corrosion of metal parts.
3. The relationship between scale and magnesium rod
The magnesium rod will slowly dissolve in water, producing Mg², competing with calcium and magnesium ions (the main components of scale) in the water, thereby reducing the deposition of scale on the surface of the heating tube and indirectly improving the heating efficiency. ,
